McMillan & Associates was founded by Natalie McMillian in 2018, following her extensive career as a CEO, Chief Executive and HR professional working within the NHS. Natalie established the business with the aim of helping to make a tangible difference to the people and businesses that she works with, by cutting out unnecessary complexities and providing clients with straightforward, honest advice.
Now a team of six, we provide businesses with a holistic approach to HR and Organisational Development services, offering consultation, HR support, Organisational Development, HR Training, Professional Coaching and Mediation.
Our team also includes experienced and qualified coaches, who combined have over 15 years’ experience in coaching individuals and businesses.
Our clients include large-scale businesses, SMEs and business owners from across a wide variety of sectors across Yorkshire and the UK.

A word from nat
I am a highly experienced HR and OD professional and have worked across a range of sectors including manufacturing, health, charity and not-for-profit. I have also worked at board-level as an HR Director, Deputy Chief Executive and CEO.
I have significant experience of working in the health sector including acute hospitals, primary and community care, CCGs, Mental Health and Ambulance Trusts. More recently I have provided leadership and direction within the West Yorkshire and Harrogate ICS in a number of senior roles.
This experience has led me to develop a proven track record in delivering transformational change for large-scale businesses, SMEs and small business owners.
Over the years I have faced many of the same challenges that business owners and professionals are experiencing today and know just how important it is to have the right support around you. I am hugely empathetic and care about building long-lasting relationships with our clients, providing unique solutions, and working alongside you to deliver those strategies that will really make a difference.
I now specialise in providing strategic HR and organisational development consultancy, with expertise in developing high performing and engaged teams. I am also an experienced executive coach with several years’ experience and outstanding testimonials and outcomes from my clients, both individuals and businesses.

Liz has worked in HR for over 20 years, and has provided advice and support across health, charity and not for profit sectors and for private SMEs.
Liz has a wide range of experience with particular involvement in policy development, employee relations, and complex investigation work. As a trained mediator, she can offer alternative resolutions to grievances. Liz also works as a coach and enjoys helping people find their potential.

Zoe has worked in Organisational Development for approximately ten years. As well as being an OD Practitioner, Zoe is a qualified and experienced coach, trained in team coaching and a coach supervisor.
Zoe has a wide range of experience in both design and delivery, and enjoys collaborating with clients to develop approaches to meet their individual needs.

Anna is a retired Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants who has worked in several NHS Trusts in Yorkshire, latterly working with Natalie in a Finance Director role.
Anna has a wide range of financial experience at a senior level as well as having been involved with many reorganisations and the Human Resources implications thereof.

Alex has been a ‘Virtual PA’ for the past 13 years, supporting a variety of female lead companies remotely. Before that she was a PA on Equity Trading Floor at Goldman Sachs.

His work encourages individuals to seize the opportunity, enjoy relationships, succeed at work and learn how to respond to adverse situations with a positive approach. Will’s aim is to release excellence in others.
Will looks to create contemporary facilitation and learning that delivers practical solutions in today’s complex world. Will delivers his work with honesty and compassion through engagement and participation. His work is centred on understanding individuals, aiding them deploy their strengths effectively.

Lucy has recently graduated from University, where she studied Sociology. Whilst in her final year of studies, she took an interest in the world of HR. Lucy is keen to develop her skills and has started a CIPD level 7 programme in Strategic People Management.
